Malik enquires health condition of injured Pulwama students at SMHS | KNO

Srinagar, February 14 (KNO) : Chairman of Jammu Kashmir liberation Front (JKLF) Muhammad Yasin Malik Thursday visited SMHS hospital and met with the students who were injured in a mysteries blast in a private school at Pulwama on Wednesday. In a statement issued to KNO, Malik along with a delegation comprising of Noor Muhammad Kalwal, Sheikh Abdul Rashid, Ashraf Bin Salam and Ghulam Muhammad Dar visited SMHS hospital and met with the injured students Rasikh Shabir, Muneeb Nazir, Faisal Hameed, Wasek Manzoor, Moeen ul islam, Ubaid Farooq, Abrar Nazir, Saima Yakoob and Safoora Farooq. Malik met with these injured, talked to their attendants’ and doctors on duty and enquired about the health status of these injured people. Expressing solidarity with these victims, Malik said that “this mysterious blast reminds us of the fact that Kashmiris are not safe anywhere and even not in their classrooms, schools and colleges.” “Our lives unsafe everywhere and today on daily basis we are being forced to shoulder coffins of our dear ones, carry injured to hospitals and bear tyranny and oppression unleashed by the oppressors,” Malik said and also prayed for the speedy recovery of these injured youth. Meanwhile, Malik along with the same delegation visited the residence of late grand Mufti-I-Azam of Jammu Kashmir Mufti Bashir Ud din and expressed solidarity with his bereaved family. Addressing a condolence meeting at Late Mufti Azam Jammu Kashmir’s residence, Malik said “the contributions of the late Grand Mufti Azam in the fields of social work, religion especially in spreading religious harmony are exemplary and he will be remembered for all his qualities for years to come.” Congratulating Mufti Nasir-ul- Islam, son of late grand mufti, on assuming charges of Mufti-i-Azam Jammu Kashmir, Malik hoped that Mufti Nasir-ul-Islam will uphold the high traditions of the sacred seat and deliver justice to everyone without any prejudice or any other motive. “Islamic Shariat is based on truth and justice and the main job of this seat is to define and implement Sharia in its true perspective and spirit,” he said, hoping that new Mufti-I-Azam will do justice to his office and remain steadfast while performing his duties. Hailing new grand Mufti for allocating twenty Lakh Rupees from his charity trust to the victims of pellets guns, burned and blasted houses and others, Malik said “we have victims of occupation and oppression all around us and it is our national duty to do whatever possible for the welfare of these victims.” While praying for the heavenly abode of late grand Mufti, JKLF chairman also prayed for the Sabr-i-Jamil of his bereaved family.
